The Art of Abandoned

There is a place near Kavala in Greece where thermal springs are flowing. Ιt used to be a tourist attraction place with hostels, but  now there are only
abandonded buildings.

There are 31 buildings and one of them was build before 1830. The rest were build from 1908 when the manufacture started, until 1950. They were developed by Zacho Zachoy a tobacco merchant, and their design were made by his brother, Aristotle Zachoy, who was an important architect.

 

Abandoned buildings and ruins seem like a mess for most people, but for an artist they are a treasure of inspirations, since places like this arouse a variety of feelings like mystery, wonder, horror, adventure, and most of all they arouse our imagination, the most valuable source of art!

Some photos have been photoshoped in order to transfer certain moods that some spots give.

 Leonardo Da Vinci said "Art is never finished, only abandoned", and we want to continue it by saying that "The abandoned is a state of art that is transforming independently".
